In recent years, the Bank Account Validation conversation has revolved around compliance, as the payments ecosystem aligned to meet new Nacha standards for secure ACH transactions.
But what if compliance was just the beginning?
An unprecedented pandemic and a pending economic downturn have changed the landscape, and companies must continue to evolve and adapt. The good news is that the emergence of new real-time data sources and advanced analytics strategies can make ACH transactions fast, fair, and more frictionless than ever.
Nacha and Accelitas are teaming up to address the new BAV realities in a free seminar Beyond Compliance, Thursday November 17th at 1 pm EST/10 am PST.
As a Nacha Preferred Partner for account validation, Accelitas goes beyond compliance, leveraging unique sources of real-time transactional data, advanced behavioral analytics, and unsurpassed U.S. bank coverage.
What You’ll Learn:
How a pending economic downturn has created both challenges and opportunities for online transactions
Why traditional validation systems often limit coverage and insight
How AI-powered predictive analytics use real-time behavioral aspects of bank account activity to optimize validation
Key steps the ACH Network and payments participants can take to keep their BAV aligned with the changing marketplace
Amy Morris, Sr. Director of ACH Network Rules | Nacha
Morris leads and participates in multiple working groups that address issues in the payments industry. In addition to collaborating with industry participants on changes to operating Rules, she also assists in educational activities and provides rule and operational guidance to network participants. Amy has over twenty years of experience in the financial services industry, specializing in electronic payments, previously working at Navy Federal Credit Union, FIS, and Visa.
James Cook, Vice President of Product Management | Accelitas
Early in his career, James realized that being in a finance department was just counting numbers and not making business decisions. So, he moved into product management, where he could enjoy high-pressure problem solving in risk-driven marketplaces. His experience in payments, identity management, fraud prevention, and data analytics (FirstData, Fiserv, LexisNexis), made him extremely qualified for the mission at Accelitas. Because he can wear more hats and have more direct impact at Accelitas, James believes he can better leverage his experience in more productive ways.
Steve Krawczyk, Chief Data Scientist | Accelitas
Mr. Krawczyk has more than 13 years of research experience. His research interests include pattern recognition, computer vision, and machine learning. Prior to Accelitas, Mr. Krawczyk held research positions at the Naval Research Laboratory, Cognitec Systems, Quantcast, and SoarTech.
